A surcharge is applied for home testing and calculated on a case-by-case basis.

Reporting times: 12 hours from the moment the test arrives in the laboratory, 24 hours in case of re-checks / invalid sample.
The report is delivered in Italian and English and is sent to the email address you provided.

COVID reports on the Electronic Health Record

As part of the measures for the prevention and management of the COVID19 epidemiological emergency, the molecular swab reports and serological tests for the diagnosis of infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus performed at LAMM are contained in your Electronic Health Record which you can access on  the Tuscany Region website.

The test measures the IgM and IgG antibodies, produced respectively in the early and late stages of the infection, in the patient's serum and then detects the immune response against the virus. People may be asymptomatic and have never had symptoms. This test  will reveal if the person is contagious.
